His works have been performed by Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, WDR Sinfonieorchester, Pierre Boulez, Susanna M\u00e4lkki, George Benjamin, Peter E\u00f6tv\u00f6s, Zubin Mehta and Daniel Barenboim (among others).
He studied composition with Hanspeter Kyburz and Marco Stroppa and did additional studies in music theory with J\u00f6rg Mainka.
Borowski has been focused on composing vocal music (particularly Klavierlied), he has been collaborating with many singers and pianists.
Borowski lives in Berlin and teaches music theory and composition at the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and at the Rostock University of Music and Drama.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
