Aber ihr meint, \u201ealle Musik m\u00fcsse aus der Wand hervorspringen und den H\u00f6rer bis in seine Ged\u00e4rme hinein sch\u00fctteln? \u2026 So erst wirke die Musik! \u2013 Auf wen wird da gewirkt? Auf Etwas, worauf ein vornehmer K\u00fcnstler niemals wirken soll, \u2013 auf die Masse! auf die Unreifen! auf die Blasierten! auf die Krankhaften! auf die Idioten! auf Wagnerianer! \u2026\u201c

D\u00e9mystification stellt sich gegen Rausch und Bet\u00e4ubung durch Kunst. Spielerisch n\u00e4hern sich die zwei Schlagzeuger den Mechanismen einer solchen wagnerisch-woll\u00fcstigen Manipulation: die heitere Distanz des Spielens steht dem dunklen, gef\u00e4hrlichen und krankhaften Rausch entgegen, der aufgekl\u00e4rte Mensch blickt fasziniert auf die Ideologie.

D\u00e9mystification ist ein Abschied.
